God's Desire for All to be
Saved
"This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:3,4).
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not have it!" (Luke 13:34).
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
"But we do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone."
"Say to them, 'As I live!' declares the Lord
God, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that
the
wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil
ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?'" (Ezekiel 33:11).
